It’s cheating. Technically, we’re not really talking about what most of us would call a computer – yet, it was one of the first of its kind to really blur the lines between the computer and the type of appliance it was marketed as. With over 147 million units sold as of November 2010, it’s without a doubt the best selling game console of all time, and I would say that starting with the sixth generation of game consoles – Dreamcast, Xbox, Playstation 2, GameCube – they became computers as well (well, except for the GameCube, obviously).
